Soccer fans at Popes Head Park on Sun. June 13 were treated to a big surprise! President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton came out to our soccer fields! Some of our SYA players got a chance to say hello to President Clinton and get their pictures taken with him!

Challengers Enjoy Big Night at Cub Run!
Between rainstorms last Friday, the CYA/SYA Challenger baseball game that night turned out to be a great event, and fun for all involved. The Challenger program, which provides disabled children with an opportunity to play the game of baseball, squared off against Little Leaguers from the regular SYA baseball program for a special night of shared community, team spirit, and sportsmanship. On February 20, 2010, the SYA 2009 Volunteer Appreciation Banquet was held at the Fair Oaks Marriott Hotel.
