Kids Serve Too Program Offers Help for Military Families1/14/2010 The Kids Serve Too Program was created by military families to provide Recreation Vouchers for children of military parents. Any child whose parent is deployed out of state or overseas is eligible. Fairfax County allows children whose parents are deployed to participate in a variety of recreational activities through a voucher program, administered by the Department of Community and Recreation Services (CRS). Click here to see the informational brochure. Vouchers may be used for camps, a variety of recreational activities offered through the county, and for registration for various independently-funded sports leagues in the county. Additional questions can be directed to Katina Matthews at 703-326-6564 or Katina.Matthews@fairfaxcounty.gov. Click here for the program application. |
