Competition Cheerleading Fees & Policies

POLICIES:  Detailed program policies will be provided to all SYA Extreme Competition Cheer Team Members upon placement onto a competitive cheer team.

Fee for NEW Extreme Members:  $1760. 

· Fees may be paid in 10 monthly installments (July-April) in the amount of $176.

· All accounts must be paid in full prior to our last competition. 

**If your athlete is a New Extreme Member AND is participating in Sideline Cheer, a DISCOUNT of $80 will be applied to your registration fee for Extreme.

Fee for NEW Extreme Members participating in Sideline Cheer:  $1680. 

· Fees may be paid in 10 monthly installments (July-April) in the amount of $168.

· All accounts must be paid in full prior to our last competition. 

PROGRAM FEES:  Program fees for NEW Extreme Members cover the following expenses, to include, but is not limited to: 

Competition Registration Fees

Competition Cheer Uniform(s)

Competition Cheer Tennis Shoes

Gym overhead costs (insurance, rent, utilities, administrative fees, etc.)

Warm-up Jacket

Practice Wear

Backpack

Bow(s)

Choreography

Music, etc.

Fee for RETURNING Extreme Members:  $1450.

· Fees may be paid in 10 monthly installments (July-April) in the amount of $145. 

· All accounts must be paid in full prior to our last competition.

**If your athlete is a Returning Extreme Member AND is participating in Sideline Cheer, a DISCOUNT of $80 will be applied to your registration fee for Extreme.

Fee for RETURNING Extreme Members participating in Sideline Cheer:  $1370. 

· Fees may be paid in 10 monthly installments (July-April) in the amount of $137.

· All accounts must be paid in full prior to our last competition. 

PROGRAM FEES:  Program fees for RETURNING Extreme Members cover the following expenses, to include, but is not limited to:

Competition Cheer Uniform(s)

Gym overhead costs (insurance, rent, utilities, administrative fees, etc.)

Practice Wear

Bow(s)

Choreography

Music, etc.

The fee for RETURNING Extreme Members does NOT include costs for cheer shoes, a backpack, and/or a warmup jacket.  

· If your athlete requires new cheer shoes, a backpack, and/or a warmup jacket, items MAY be ordered on the day of sizing. 

· Payment is due in full on the day of sizing.

· Checks and/or cash will be accepted and should be given to SYA Extreme’s Commissioner. 

· Checks should be made payable to SYA Extreme Cheer. 

TRAVEL EXPENSES:  Travel Expenses (i.e., hotel accommodations, gas, food, competition admission fees for family and friends, parking, etc.) are NOT included in Program Fees and will not be reimbursed by SYA Extreme.  

CROSSOVER FEES:  Athletes participating on more than one team may be required to pay an additional Crossover Fee ranging from approximately $100-$300, depending on competitions selected for the season.  The Crossover Fee will be determined at the end of August. 

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES:  SYA Extreme offers numerous fundraising activities throughout the entire season for our members.  Participation in fundraising activities is voluntary and is not mandatory.  Such activities include, but is not limited to, bake sales, cookie dough sales, car washes, Krispy Kreme donut sales, Scentsy, raffles, jewelry, spirit wear, gift wrap, etc.  There is no limit to the amount of fundraising that can be done!  Fundraisers designated for benefit of the gym as a whole will go towards general program costs and gym upkeep.  All monies collected from individual fundraising will be deducted from individual accounts for Program Fees/Crossover Fees owed.   All fundraising activities and monies collected are monitored by SYA Extreme’s Commissioner and Fundraising Board Member.
