The SYA Cheerleading uniform consists of:

SYA uniforms may only be worn at games (not to practices, to school, or to any other event unrelated to SYA unless notified by your coach). In colder weather, black leggings may be worn under the skirt. Coaches may ask that the team purchase leggings together so that they all match.

Uniform distribution is held in August. Dates and times will be assigned to coaches and teams will be notified.

The cost of an SYA cheer uniform is $175. A deposit check in the amount of $175 and a signed Uniform Contract must be provided to SYA prior to uniform issuance. A copy of the Uniform Contract will be provided to each cheerleader during Spirit Week and/or by his/her assigned coach.

At the end of the season, your coach will collect the shell, skirt, and pom poms. If your uniform has been damaged beyond repair or is not returned, your deposit check in the amount of $175 will be cashed. If your uniform is returned in good condition, your deposit check will be returned to you.
