Registration opens April 2, 2024

Important Dates:

Skills Camp – July 22-25, 2024 @ Centreville High School  

*You must be registered and paid in full.

Registration – Now (Closes August 5th wait list will begin on that date)

First Day of Practice – August 5. Locations will be Centreville High School and Braddock Park.

SYA Football (Tackle) Skills Camp July 22-25, 2024

You are invited to attend the 2024 SYA non-contact skills camp! Please join us at Centreville High School on July 22-25, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. This camp will teach the basic fundamentals of football, which include footwork, passing, receiving, stances, tackling basics, and much more. This is a great opportunity and introduction for newcomers and returning players to gear up for the upcoming season. Additionally, Skills Camp offers a chance for parents and children that are on the fence about tackle, to meet with and ask questions to SYA Football coaches. A fun time is guaranteed and all kids are welcomed!

The cost of the camp is $75.00 and you can either sign up when you register for tackle football or as a stand-alone at a later time. The camp is open to anyone, even if you aren't playing tackle football this season or playing in a different club. You Must be signed up to participate and check-ins will be required each day at the gate.

Weather Policy

Inclement weather line: 703.324.5264        

1. All SYA Football practice cancellations will be posted by 5pm.  If it is not posted here or a coach or team administrator does not email you, assume practice is on.
2. We will wait until 6:30 to see if bad weather clears before sending kids home.
3. When in doubt use common sense, lightning and monsoon type rains will usually cancel practice.
4. If lightning occurs after practice starts, leave field immediately, practice is delayed until 30 minutes after last lightning strike or cancellation by the head coach.
