The SYA Little League Softball Program is organized into a four level structure, depending on the number of girls registered. An overview of the spring league structure and game and practice schedules is shown below. The fall developmental season will be structured similarly, also pending the number of players registered.

- Minors
- Ages 7 – 11. Regulation 11″ softballs. Players pitch from 35 feet. Practices are held 1-2 times a week. Two games are played each week, including one on a weeknight and one on Saturday. This level may be broken into multiple levels to include Rookies, AA, and AAA.

- Majors
- Ages 9 – 12. Regulation 12″ softballs. Players pitch from 40 feet. Practices are held 1-2 times a week. Two games are played each week, including one on a weeknight and one on Saturday.

- Juniors
- Ages 12 – 14. Regulation 12″ softballs. Players pitch from 43 feet. Practices are held 1-2 times a week. Two games are played each week, including one on a weeknight and one on Saturday. There is no Junior League level for the 2019 Spring as it is combined with Seniors.
- Seniors
- Ages 13 – 16. Regulation 12″ softballs. Players pitch from 43 feet. Practices are held 1-2 times a week. Two games are played each week, including one on a weeknight and one on Saturday, although this may vary depending on the leagues we play against.
For the spring season, teams begin practicing in mid March. Games begin in early April. The regular season generally ends mid-June.
For the fall season, teams begin practicing in mid August. Games begin the Saturday after Labor Day, and the season typically ends the first Saturday in November.
