Put it on your calendar, May 21 at the Sports Park from 2pm until dark. Baseball/Softball Home Run Derby for ages 9-12, food, games, raffles, and much more. Bring some chairs, picnic/beach blanket, and let's have some fun with a "SYA block" party! You don't have to be an SYA Little League family, just enjoy the game, the outdoors, and family/friends.

Here are some of the details:

• T-Mobile Home Run Derby (Softball/Baseball, ages 9-12 - after the awards)
• Recognition of Citizenship Awards (3pm)
• Recognition of the 2021 Volunteers of the Year (3pm)
• Team/Skills Competition on running and throwing
• Pie Your Coach (Whip cream)!
• Full access to the fields for whiffle ball and lawn games (except during HR Derby)
• Music provided by Bach to Rock!
• Various food trucks serving savory to sweets! Expected:
  • Island Favorites: authentic Caribbean dishes
  • Virginia Grill Food: hot dogs, burgers, etc
  • Twisted Sweets: Ice cream and savory treats
  • Working on beer and ice truck
• Special appearances from local Mascots, Westfield and Centreville Baseball Teams!
