Please check on field status if it has rained in the last 48 hours. Decisions on field status are generally made by 3:30pm each day Monday-Friday and by 7am on Saturday and Sunday.
It is the responsibility of each coach to determine whether the school fields and gyms have been closed because of inclement weather, etc. and to alert the members of his/her team. This information can be obtained by utilizing any/all of the systems below:

Coaches and parents are encouraged to sign up for Fairfax Alerts!, Fairfax County’s new emergency alert system, which broadcasts messages to e-mail accounts, cell phones, pagers, and wireless devices. This public service will alert coaches and parents to school closings due to weather or other emergency situations. In addition, coaches should check their emails on nights prior to game days
