SYA is offering a Spring Field Hockey Clinic!

Welcome to our Spring SYA field hockey clinics!

These are for players from 1st to 8th grade. Players will be grouped by age. Clinics will focus on learning/developing the following: stick skills, different types of hits, passing, receiving, 1v1 defending skills, age-appropriate principles of team and off ball movement, and decision making. Players will scrimmage for the second part of each session. Personal life skills will be modeled by the coaches and nurtured with the players - self confidence, proper communication, respect, work ethic, self-control, enthusiasm, teamwork, and leadership.

Clinics will take place on May 1, May 15 and June 12 from 8am-10am at ECL, Field #3. You can sign up for one, two or all three clinics. The clinics will be taught by the Westfield High School Varsity Field Hockey coach and the Westfield High School Varsity team players.  All skill levels are welcome as are SYA Volunteer coaches. Please sign up today!

A part of all registration fees will go towards the Westfield High School Varsity Field Hockey program!
