Summer sports registration is open now.  Summer sports include basketball, travel basketball and track and field.  Registration for travel basketball will take place after tryouts and team selection.  For specific questions, please visit the individual sport’s home page. About SYA

SYA is a non-profit organization serving southwestern Fairfax County. SYA provides the youth of Centreville and Clifton, Virginia and the surrounding communities with the opportunity to participate in sports activities. The number of sports offered by SYA now numbers twelve and the list will continue to grow in the coming years.

Among the most important purposes of SYA are:

  • Each youth should have substantial active participation in each game
  • Each sport should be well equipped and be an asset to the community
  • The coaching, officiating, etc., should be largely from volunteers who have been trained
  • All children should have an opportunity to play regardless of sex, nationality or ability
