Register now for four-week sessions on Sunday afternoons at Deer Park Elementary School. Clinics cover softball skills like hitting fundamentals, throwing mechanics, base running, defensive skills, speed and agility, and pitching fundamentals. Just $30.00 for a full session of four Sundays in February or $10.00 for Sunday drop-ins in January. Space is limited!

The Fairfax County Athletic Council (FCAC) announced this year’s Fairfax County Champions of Character Award winners at a ceremony in October.  SYA winners include male athlete Paul Baumgartner, female athlete Grace Hinton, coach Andrew Ide, and parent Lynne Saltsman.

The SYA-owned and operated Fields of Dreams complex in Centreville has been renamed the SYA Sports Park.

Fund raising for construction of Phase II is about to begin. We will add 4 rectangular fields, 4 diamond fields, 4 outdoor volleyball courts and an oval track. Watch for announcements of exciting events coming soon!

The Fairfax County Solid Waste Management Program will be sponsoring one secure document shredding event in each supervisory district per calendar year.  Shredding is a free service for Fairfax County residents.  Please refer to the following link for more information.
